This year we organized a incentive trip to Hamburg for some 400 people from KPN. But this is not the only German city we visited with KPN: in fact, in 2022 we already organized a 3-day incentive trip to Berlin as a reward for 160 employees! A trip that offered the perfect mix of discovery, enjoyment and pure fun. Berlin turned out to be the perfect destination for this: a city brimming with energy, history and culture! And this is how we worked out this epic trip.
Early in the morning, the group left on a sustainable ICE train for Berlin. After a quick check-in, it was time to jump on the pedals right away. We organized a bike tour that allowed everyone to immediately feel the vibe of the city. Cycling through the streets of Berlin, past iconic spots like the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, participants got a real insight into the city. The fresh wind in your face, the bustling hustle and bustle of the city around you, and nice and moving after a ride on the train.
After the bike tour, all participants were able to check into the hotel right away and had free time to revisit their newly discovered hot spots or dive further into the city on their own.
The second day was dedicated to choice activities, allowing everyone time to explore the city in their own unique way. Pick and choose:
And because we know how important it is to be able to move freely, everyone was given a ticket for public transportation. So everyone could cruise through Berlin chill and stress free.
We ended the second evening with a bang: a fully catered dinner and after party at DEEP: one of the hippest event venues in town. Think good food, swinging music and an atmosphere that immediately puts you in party mode. It was the perfect way to celebrate the trip together and strengthen the meaningful connections between colleagues.
Before leaving Berlin behind, we made sure everyone boarded the train back to the Netherlands with a full stomach. A classic schnitzel dinner was the icing on the cake and gave everyone one last taste of German culture.
