Upon arrival, the participants were warmly welcomed, which is very typical of the hospitality of this Italian region. A pleasant drink with local wine and snacks set the tone for the trip immediately: saluti! The group stayed in beautiful accommodations ranging from traditional trulli (calcareous houses with conical roofs: also known as the symbol of Puglia) to luxury resorts overlooking the sea.
We started the trip with a tour of Lecce, also known as the āFlorence of the Southā. The beautiful Baroque architecture and charming streets created a fairy-tale atmosphere. Additionally, team activities such as a city game through the old town provided extra bonding between the participants.
A trip to Ostuni, the āWhite Cityā, was not only a feast for the eyes but also a discovery in the culinary field. Passionate local chefs shared the secrets of Apulian cuisine during an authentic cooking workshop with local products. After all the effort in the kitchen, the beautiful dishes were of course tasted together, in very idyllic settings in a beautiful inner garden among the blooming olive trees.
A day of relaxation was on the agenda on the coast of Polignano a Mare. This is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque places on the coast of Puglia. The clear blue water, the typically white houses and cozy Italian streets make this a top spot for a day of relaxation. The participants were able to enjoy the sun, sea and beach, interspersed with team building activities such as kayaking and beach games.
We visited Alberobello: the trulli village of Puglia. Here, participants immersed themselves in the local culture through interactive workshops and tours. The trip ended with a farewell dinner, where we shared memories and strengthened the team spirit.Ā
