GSE The Agency has been active in various sports industries for many years. We organize the flights and/or international trips such as training camps or tournaments for different teams. Parties we work with include the Dutch Volleyball Association (Nevobo), the Netherlands Basketball Association (NBB), the Athletics Union and the Royal HandboogSport Nederland (NHB). In addition, we are Official Travel Partner of several Dutch soccer teams and regularly organize their foreign soccer and business club trips. But what exactly is involved in this? We get that question more often and we answer it in this blog!
Last soccer season (2022/2023) was booming! From foreign training camps for major Dutch top clubs, to top sports trips around the Conference League and business club and networking trips to these places in Europe.
During the draw for Conference League games, our entire team is on standby. As soon as it is known who the next opponent is, everyone jumps behind the phone.
Often the preference is to charter a private flight. Fortunately, we have the right contacts to handle this efficiently and quickly know what the options are.
It also requires a good hotel that is able and willing to host the team. This is because accommodating a soccer team presents different challenges for a hotel than receiving "regular guests." Everything needed in organizing these trips, such as transfers, proper meals and extra facilities for the physical therapists and doctors are arranged by GSE The Agency.
After proposing a number of hotels to the respective soccer club, an inspection trip is scheduled to assess the location.
After the soccer club has made its choice, all the important details are further coordinated with the hotel and the execution soon comes into view. In fact, we often have no more than two weeks to organize this complete program. This is because the playing date of the match is played according to the European soccer schedule.
Of course, we also travel with you to take care of everything on site and as a point of contact for both the team and all the suppliers we work with.
Unfortunately, we have no influence on the outcome of the matches we visit. However, we do have influence on the program of the trip and are happy to contribute to the success of these trips. Our goal is to take away all worries and in this way we try to contribute to the success of the team!
In addition to organizing the team's trip, we are simultaneously working on organizing a business club trip that will take place at the same time. The purpose of this trip is basically to attend the soccer match. Around this, we are building an interesting program at the destination of the match. This brings many challenges within this short time frame, because just try to find accommodation, restaurants and activities so last-minute for a group ranging from 20 to 200 people.

These include flight updates, program adjustments, weather forecast and any other update of interest.

Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world. It is played, watched and followed: worldwide! This sport has the ability to bring people together, both locally and internationally. For that reason, Professional Soccer Organizations (BVOs) or companies regularly organize a trip in which visiting a soccer match is the central focus. Given GSE The Agency's experience and network, they know how to find us as a right fit for organizing their soccer trips.
Several times a year we organize for large groups the visit to a European soccer match in the form of a networking trip. Together we choose an interesting soccer match and of course this match will take place at a nice destination.
Participants can register for this trip and we offer a complete program. This program focuses on fun and this provides the opportunities for mutual contact. During these trips, relationships are maintained and built, new friendships are made and each network is expanded. Thus, for many, the perfect opportunity for casual business.
